FROM FAULT TO REPAIR
One service point for your welding equipment
A stopped welding machine affects work schedules, deliveries and production. At Zafer Elektromekanik, repair begins with understanding the symptoms, operating conditions and connected equipment, rather than assuming a component needs replacing.
Established in 1997, our service point is in OTES Industrial Estate, Altinordu, Ordu. Contact us with the brand and model for inverter, MIG/MAG, TIG and torch service enquiries. Work, parts requirements and cost are established following assessment.

Independent service for other brands
Is your machine not listed above? We also provide independent service for other welding equipment brands. Send the brand, model, serial number, error code and a label photo so we can assess the scope of work and parts availability.
Independent support does not imply manufacturer authorization or manufacturer warranty cover. Repair or parts availability cannot be guaranteed for every model; suitability and terms are agreed following initial discussion and assessment.

MMA / Inverter
For electrode welding machines, report failure to start, reduced output, intermittent operation or protection trips. Power electronics, connections and cooling are assessed according to the model and symptoms.
MIG / MAG
Uneven wire feed, trigger faults and an unstable arc may involve more than the power source. The feeder, torch, work connection, consumables and gas path are considered together before recommending parts.
TIG / Argon
Arc starting, output control, gas flow and torch connections depend on the AC/DC capabilities, operating mode and accessories. Share the exact model and error code to help plan the assessment.
Plasma and other systems
For cutting faults, send the machine and torch model with the symptoms. Work on plasma, laser and other industrial systems is agreed separately according to technical documentation, parts availability and assessment.
Service assessment at customer workshops
On-site enquiries are assessed according to the model, fault, working conditions and location. Availability, scope, travel and charges must be agreed in advance. The following scenes are not records of actual customer visits.

Describe when and how the fault occurs: no power, fan running without output, no wire feed, or protection after a period of use. These details help plan intake; they do not replace a hands-on diagnosis.
- Machine label, full model and original serial number
- Photo of the error code or warning light
- Whether the fault is constant or intermittent
- Torch, wire / electrode and connected accessories
- Invoice and warranty documentation for warranty enquiries
Safety: Stop using equipment with smoke, a burnt smell or suspected electrical leakage. Do not open the enclosure or bypass safety circuits.
How does the service process work?
Contact and initial details
Share the model and symptoms, then agree workshop delivery or shipping before sending the machine.
Intake and assessment
The machine and included accessories are recorded, then assessed to establish the fault and work required.
Information and approval
Scope, parts and cost are communicated. Warranty eligibility is assessed separately under manufacturer conditions.
Work, checks and collection
After approved work is completed, you receive information on the work performed and can check the service record using your reference.
Maintenance, torches and spare parts
Dust, blocked ventilation, worn connections and unsuitable consumables can affect operation. Maintenance needs depend on usage and manufacturer instructions. External cleaning is not the same as electrical servicing, which requires qualified personnel.
Torch and spare-part compatibility depends on the machine model, torch type and part code, not just the brand. Browse the current catalogue and discuss whether repair or replacement best fits your requirements.
Regional service enquiries from our Ordu workshop
Visit our Altinordu workshop for Ordu welding equipment repair. Enquiries from Giresun, Samsun, Trabzon, Corum, Tokat and Sivas are also assessed following initial contact. These locations describe enquiry coverage, not branches or guaranteed on-site service.
Frequently asked service questions
How much does a welding machine repair cost?
Cost depends on the model, diagnosis, parts and work required. A firm repair price cannot be established from symptoms alone. Scope and price are shared after assessment, and chargeable work proceeds with approval.
Can I send a machine from outside Ordu?
Contact us before shipping from Giresun, Samsun, Trabzon, Corum, Tokat, Sivas or elsewhere. Confirm the address, packaging, accessories and transport arrangements first. Our workshop is in Altinordu, Ordu; these enquiries do not imply branches elsewhere.
What is the difference between authorized and independent service?
Our authorized brands are individually listed below. Other brands are handled as independent service, without claiming manufacturer authorization. Warranty eligibility and approval follow the manufacturer’s conditions and the machine documentation.
How long does repair take?
Turnaround depends on diagnosis, workload, parts and testing. Ask for an estimate after intake; same-day completion or a fixed outcome is not promised before assessment.
How can I track my service?
Keep the reference provided at intake and use Service Tracking on our website. For additional questions, call our landline.
Should I open the machine myself?
No. Welding equipment can contain hazardous voltages and retained energy. Do not open it or bypass safety circuits. Stop using a machine that smokes, smells burnt or trips protection, and contact a qualified service provider.
