Designed for continuous stick welding on unalloyed, low-alloy and stainless steels with 2.5, 3.25 and 4.0 mm rutile, basic and stainless electrodes.

Features

The metal housing of the Askaynak Inverter 205-TIG/PULSE uses a baked paint finish, as used in the automotive industry.

HF TIG provides high-frequency arc starting without touching the tungsten electrode to the workpiece.

LIFT TIG starts the arc by touching the tungsten electrode tip to the workpiece and lifting it.

Crater-current control helps fill the crater at the end of a weld to maintain the weld bead's integrity and appearance.

Pulse DC reduces heat input to help limit distortion when welding thin materials.

Hall Sensor technology maintains the set output current despite variations in the electrode-to-workpiece distance during welding.
